Must Dine in Vivere Skyline

If you're looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion or maybe planning something you'd probably celebrate for, I got just the place for you! Take a special trip all the way to the south and you would find Vivere Skyline Restaurant.

Meanwhile, if you're looking for someplace cool to enjoy a bottle or two of beer with special friends, I also have the perfect suggestion! Drive through the traffic to Alabang and look for Vivere Hotel's Skylounge.

It's actually one and the same. I don't know why there are different names... :D

Look at this gorgeous view!!! This explains why it's perfect.

Truly, the view simply sets this place apart.

There are several dining areas to enjoy. There's the indoor lounge.

There's the alfresco dining area.

It's right beside the magnificent infinity pool that offers the same city scenery.

There's also a truly enchanting place to eat and chat while smoking.

The relaxing music from the organ only helped the ambience to be perfect. Oh, must not forget the slightly chilly night breeze going here and there.

Now, the food:

Our meal started with very delicious steaming hot soups.

Mine was Tomato Basil soup which we got for Php80 because we ordered a salad. It was a great deal especially since the soup was fresh and tasty in all honesty.

Fred tried to resist but eventually gave in and ordered the French Onion Soup. He didn't regret it. It was truly a great cupful!

Next: our fresh salad was accompanied by small cubes of feta cheese (more pieces would've been welcome. :D), by equally fresh mangoes and yummy scallops grilled with spinach and bacon. Another perfect score.

I loved the grilled red, yellow and green bell peppers that came with our first main dish. Fred enjoyed the lamb which we found to be perfectly cooked. The chef wasn't shy in seasoning the lamb with herbs. Yup, the rack of lamb rocks!

Meanwhile, my fishy order had a little contest going on. We love salmon above all fishes. However, eaten side by side with lapu-lapu, we found that although they made perfect pinkish salmon, the white lapu-lapu was smoother and more savory.

Thankfully, this was one of the rare times we still had space to eat some dessert! The profiteroles was a first for me. I've never heard of it and I was eager to try it. It was GREAT! I don't really like chocolate but it just goes well with the almonds, soft cream puffs and vanilla ice cream. This was luckily the perfect way to end our perfect dinner. (Lucky because I would've regretted ordering this instead of the other yummy looking desserts.)

Another great date with my great guy! Lucky me! :D
