Ti Amo Cerchio

I remember when I was touring Male, Maldives with an Italian couple (thankfully not in their honeymoon!) I wanted to chat with them but they don't speak any english. At the time, the only Italian I know is "ti amo" which means "i love you". I could hardly strike up a conversation with that. I've come a long way with my Italian by now, thanks to the Italian restaurants filling my tummy with yummy food! Now I learned a new Italian word "cerchio" which means "circle or round" but how do I use that in a conversation with a random stranger? Hm.

Mind you, this restaurant isn't actually an Italian restaurant. Instead, it serves  Filipino + Asian cuisines. (Okaayy, filipino is Asian but I'm trying to be more specific so forgive me.) 

I dare describe this restaurant in one word: PERFECT! Just like Mr. Right.

The restaurant looks handsome like its relative Cafe Romulo yet it doesn't intimidate. We all appreciate god-like looks (save for Buddha's look, of course.) but who wants to be with someone you'd feel like worshipping instead? 

The service is really something. The waiters were truly attentive just how boyfriends should be. :D

Cool as Cucumber Php95

I've tried this cucumber drink from Cafe Romulo and loved it. I tried it once again, and fell in love all over again. :)

Pumpkin Malunggay Soup Php90

This is a very good pumpkin soup with a Filipino twist. The malunggay taste was surely subtle but not to be ignored. This kind of reminds me of Fil-Ams or any mixed that everyone finds so attractive.

Cerchio's Pork Sisig Php230

Absolutely the best dish of our dinner. It looked innocent enough, but proved to be such a pleasurable treat. Not to mention the fact that the three mounds looked a little small but very meaty and juicy just like how Mr. Right's mind should be. :)

Just like with most Mr. Right-ish, this one was off-limits to me due to the Bagoong. BOO!

But of course, who doesn't want to be with someone sweet and thoughtful? The Langka Creme Brulee and Toffee Sans Rival are just the right pick. They're not the sweet-when-they've-done-something-wrong either.

Dine in Cerchio and I promise you, you might not find Mr. Right here but it'll definitely remove your thoughts from Mr. Wrong. :)
